Natalie Woodman

Natalie Woodman is the Company Director and the Lead Neuro Physiotherapist for Neurolink Physiotherapy Limited who provides a service of Physiotherapy assessment, physiotherapy rehabilitation, postural assessment and seating provision for adult clients presenting with neurological conditions.

Natalie Woodman graduated in Cape Town, South Africa in 1995 with a BSc Physiotherapy (Hons) degree. Prior to emigrating to the United Kingdom in 1999, she worked in the field of Spinal Cord Injures and Neurology within a private hospital and private practise for approximately three and a half years covering the acute phase and rehabilitation.

Natalie Woodman has extensive experience and a sound knowledge in working with acquired neurological conditions such as Strokes and Head Injuries. As well as Progressive Neurological conditions such as Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and Muscular Dystrophy.

She has a specific interest in managing complex neurological conditions and 24-hour postural management.  Natalie Woodman completed a post graduate certificate in Postural Management for People with Complex Disabilities through Oxford Brookes University and Nuffield Orthopaedic Trust (2005-2006).

Natalie is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP), the Health Professionals Council (HPC), The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN), The Posture and Mobility Group (PMG) and also of the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (OCPPP).

Portia Woodman

Portia Woodman is an Associate Physiotherapist of Neurolink Physiotherapy Limited who provides a service of Physiotherapy assessment, physiotherapy rehabilitation, postural assessment and seating provision for adult clients presenting with neurological conditions.

Portia Woodman graduated in Cape Town, South Africa in 1996 with a BSc Physiotherapy (Hons) degree at University of Cape Town. Prior to emigrating to the United Kingdom in June 2000, she worked in the field of Spinal Cord Injures and Neurology within a private hospital and private practise for approximately three and a half years covering the acute phase and rehabilitation.

Portia Woodman is a Clinical Specialist in Neurology in a Community Rehab Team within the NHS. She is the lead clinician in the functional electrical stimulation clinic and helps to co-ordinate the orthotics service. Portia Woodman has extensive experience and a sound knowledge in working with clients presenting with acquired neurological conditions such as Strokes and Head Injuries and Progressive Neurological conditions especially Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease.

Portia Woodman completed a post graduate certificate in Postural Management for People with Complex Disabilities through Oxford Brookes University and Nuffield Orthopaedic Trust (2004-2005). She has recently completed her Masters Degree in Rehabilitation through St Georges Hospital / Kingston University 2006-2008.
